Pair of Nambé Marilyn Davidson Cordial Goblets, Model 6250
A sculptural pair of Nambé cordial goblets designed by Marilyn Davidson, executed in the brand's signature polished aluminum alloy. The form is pure mid-century revival — a flared conical foot rising to a slender stem, capped by a generous hemispherical cup joined at a small spherical node. The hourglass silhouette reads equally as goblet, candleholder, or modernist objet, depending on how it's staged.
Both pieces are stamped to the underside of the foot: nambé / 6250 / © 2003 / Marilyn Davidson. Davidson's work for the Santa Fe-based foundry draws on the same New Mexico modernist vocabulary that built the Nambé reputation — clean geometry, hand-finished metal, and a satisfying weight in the hand. Sold as a matched pair.
CONDITION
Good. Surface scratching throughout consistent with use and handling; the cups and feet show the expected fine scuffs of polished aluminum. We'll leave the polishing to you.
