Pair of Hand-Blown Green & Black Spotted Art Glass Ovoid Vases

A matched pair of large ovoid art glass vases in deep transparent olive green, internally decorated with irregular black spots that drift and elongate from the rim downward before settling into rounder, denser clusters toward the base. Both pieces are hand- and mouth-blown, with the spotting pattern unique to each vessel — one reads more vertically streaked, the other more evenly dappled — giving the pair a sense of conversation rather than mechanical duplication. The bottoms are polished flat, and the walls carry the weight and clarity typical of furnace-worked studio glass.

The spotted-on-transparent technique and the generous ovoid silhouette are consistent with later 20th-century Murano-style production, though origin cannot be confirmed without a signature or label. Sold as a decorative pair.
