Antique Wooden Tiered 20-Slot Countertop Display Rack
A tiered countertop display rack in stained hardwood, built with twenty stepped slots arranged in two columns of ten. The cascading shelf design — each slot angled to reveal the face of whatever it holds — points to a retail or office origin: a card rack, pamphlet display, or postcard stand sized to sit on a counter and present its contents at a glance. Construction is straightforward and sturdy, with a deep front lip retaining the bottom row and stained side panels framing the stepped interior.
The dark walnut-toned finish, simple butt-jointed construction, and overall proportions read early-to-mid 20th century. It would suit a stationery shop, vintage mercantile display, a collector organizing trading cards or postcards, or a styled retail fixture for greeting cards and printed ephemera.
