Mid-Century Wrought Iron Mesh Patio Chairs with Floral Motif, Set of 3
A set of three mid-century wrought iron patio armchairs with curved barrel backs, expanded metal mesh seats and backs, and decorative cast floral and scrollwork appliqués along the crest rail. The white-painted frames rest on splayed tubular legs with disc feet, a style associated with American garden furniture makers such as Woodard, Salterini, and Meadowcraft from the 1950s–60s.
The dogwood-style blossom and scrolling vine motif at the back rail is characteristic of the era's romantic garden aesthetic, designed to weather courtyards, patios, and poolside terraces. Lightweight, stackable, and sculptural, these chairs suit a covered porch, sunroom, or breakfast nook as readily as an outdoor setting.
CONDITION
