Theodore Greer "Valles Caldera" & "Battleship Rock" Signed Photographs in Live-Edge Frames, Pair
A pair of signed color landscape photographs by Theodore Greer of Jemez Springs, New Mexico, each titled in pencil at lower left and signed "T. Greer" at lower right. Valles Caldera captures the winding East Fork of the Jemez River cutting through the vast grassland of the Valles Caldera National Preserve, with a lone red outbuilding and the Jemez Mountains rising under a stormy summer sky. Battleship Rock frames the dramatic welded-tuff bluff in the Jemez Mountains at golden hour, its ochre cliffs lit against ponderosa pine.
Both prints are matted and set into handcrafted live-edge log frames — pine or aspen with bark inclusions, natural knots, and a clear satin finish that emphasizes the rustic Northern New Mexico character. The frames suit the subject matter: Jemez landscapes presented in Jemez timber. Greer operates Theodore Greer Photography from 201 Camino Peñasco, Jemez Springs, NM, specializing in landscapes of the Jemez region and the wider area.
CONDITION
Very Good. Prints present brightly with strong color saturation. Light surface marks visible on the sky area of the Valles Caldera print under raking light. No glass in either frame — prints are exposed behind the mat opening. Frames are solid with intact bark and finish.
