Neil Cohen for Nambé Polished Alloy Palm Tree Candlesticks, Pair
A graceful pair of palm tree candlesticks designed by Neil Cohen for Nambé, cast in the studio's signature polished alloy. Each piece features a slender, curving trunk rising from a smooth oval base, crowned by a canopy of sculpted fronds that arch outward in characteristic palm silhouette. The taller of the two leans into the breeze; the shorter stands more upright, giving the pair a natural asymmetry when displayed together. Both are marked on the underside "nambé / Neil Cohen."
Cohen's palm series for Nambé became one of the brand's recognizable decorative forms — a sculptural take on tableware that bridges Santa Fe modernism and resort-coastal styling. The high-luster alloy reads as silver but resists tarnish, making the pair as suited to a console or mantel as to a dining table. Candles are not included.
CONDITION
Good overall with no damage noted. Surfaces show light handling marks and minor swirl polishing wear consistent with display use; the new owner can refresh the polish to taste.
