A hand-cut lead crystal seahorse figurine by Waterford Crystal, Ireland, retaining its original green-and-gold seahorse foil label reading "Waterford Crystal — Made in Ireland." The seahorse — Waterford's enduring house emblem — is rendered in heavy crystal with the maker's signature diamond and wedge cuts running across the curled tail, body, and crowned head, all rising from a stepped rectangular plinth. The base is acid-etched Waterford.
The seahorse motif traces to Waterford's coat of arms and has been used by the company as its trademark since the brand's twentieth-century revival.
