Cherry Red & Black Bakelite Salt & Pepper Shaker Set
A two-piece Bakelite salt and pepper set in cherry red, each shaker shaped as a half-cylinder so the pair nests together into a single column. One carries a matching red screw-on top, the other a contrasting black top, both perforated with a five-hole shaker pattern. The warm, slightly translucent red and the resin's hand-weight are characteristic of cast phenolic from the Art Deco-through-mid-century kitchen era. /p>
