Description

Country Vinyl LP Trio — Marty Robbins "Devil Woman," Conway Twitty "Hello Darlin'," Freddy Fender "Teardrop Falls"

A three-LP grouping of classic country, all from a single-owner collection assembled largely through the 1960s and 1970s. The set pairs Marty Robbins, "Devil Woman" (Columbia CL 1918, 1962 mono pressing — the cover famously shot at Nashville's Centennial Park with Robbins' own modified coupe) with Conway Twitty, "Hello Darlin'" (Decca DL 75209 stereo, the 1970 album behind his signature title track), and Freddy Fender, "Before The Next Teardrop Falls" (ABC Dot DOSD-2020, the 1975 breakout produced by Huey P. Meaux at Sugar Hill Studios in Houston).

Each jacket carries the visible history of long ownership — the Twitty in particular has duct-tape repair across the bottom edge of both covers, and the Fender shows a "Free" price-tag remnant and heavy surface scuffing. All three records are present and playable. A tidy run for a country buyer, spanning honky-tonk balladry, the Countrypolitan era, and the Tex-Mex crossover that brought Baldemar Huerta national success.

CONDITION

Records grade Good and are playable as shown. Jackets show heavy wear consistent with long use: the Twitty cover has duct-tape repair to the lower edge and edge splitting; the Fender cover has a "Free" tape-tag remnant, ring wear, and abrasion to the front photo; the Robbins cover shows soiling, edge wear, and corner softening. No unpleasant odors. Single-owner collection, most acquired in the 1960s and 1970s.
