Fender Sidekick Keyboard 1x10 Solid-State Combo Amplifier, Two-Channel
The Fender Sidekick Keyboard is a compact two-channel solid-state combo built for the wide frequency range of electronic keyboards and stage pianos. The front panel runs dual inputs — Input 1/Volume 1 and Input 2/Volume 2 — into a shared three-band EQ (Treble, Middle, Bass), a Master volume, and a Limiter with indicator LED to tame transient peaks from synth and electric piano signals. A top-mounted Line Out and a front Headphones jack handle direct recording and silent practice.
Rated at 70W into a single 10" driver, the amp is housed in Fender's familiar black Tolex cabinet with silver grille cloth, chrome corner protectors, a top strap handle, and the chrome script logo. The Sidekick Keyboard was produced during Fender's late-1980s budget-line expansion, manufactured in Taiwan under the Fender Musical Instruments, Brea, California operation. The series targeted gigging keyboardists who needed reliable, portable amplification without the coloration of a guitar-voiced amp — flat response, built-in limiter, and dual inputs made it a practical choice for both live use and home practice. The full maker's label and factory QC stamp are intact on the rear panel. Original power cord included.
CONDITION
Very Good and fully operational. Tested and working with no damage; gentle signs of use throughout, including light scuffing to the Tolex and expected patina to the chrome corners. Controls and jacks function as intended.
