Lanikai LU-11 Mahogany Soprano Ukulele with Original Box
A Lanikai LU-11 soprano ukulele in mahogany-finished construction, identified by the headstock logo and the interior soundhole label reading "LANIKAI UKULELES HAWAII, MODEL NO. LU-11" with serial number K11107. The body wears a warm satin brown finish with straight grain across the top, back, and sides. A rosewood-style bridge with a tie-bar saddle anchors four strings, and the slotted-tone fretboard carries pearloid position dots at the standard frets.
The LU-11 is Lanikai's long-running entry soprano, the size that started it all — bright, percussive, and built for a quick chord and a porch evening. This example is fitted with open-gear tuners topped in white pearloid buttons and ships with its original marked box (hand-labeled "MEXICANA DC-10-15"). The included label and serial confirm the model directly; a clean, playable instrument for a first uke or a knock-around travel piece.
CONDITION
