Pair Wrought Iron Dragon-Head Planter Stands with Terracotta Pots
A matched pair of garden planter stands, each a three-legged wrought iron base supporting a tapered terracotta-toned pot with a ruffled, scalloped rim. The ironwork shows real blacksmith character: twisted uprights, scrolled feet, a quatrefoil medallion bracing the lower stretchers, and the eye-catching detail of cast dragon heads at the upper corners, each gripping a loose ring in its jaws.
The iron carries a green-gold oxidized patina from outdoor service. The dragon-and-ring motif and hand-forged scrollwork give these a Spanish Revival garden look that suits a covered patio or entry flanking a doorway. The pots lift free of the bases for planting or replacement. Unmarked.
CONDITION
Good with honest signs of outdoor use. The iron shows rust, oxidation; one pot rim has a chip. Pots are sound and seat firmly in their cradles.
