Description

Country & Bluegrass Vinyl LP Lot of 20 — George Jones, Charley Pride

A single-owner lot of 20 vinyl LPs weighted toward country, bluegrass, and easy-listening titles acquired new in the 1960s and 1970s. The stack spans major-label Nashville (Columbia, RCA, United Artists, Mercury) and the beloved independents — Starday and King — that documented the raw, unpolished edge of the genre before it was fully smoothed out for radio. George Jones appears three times across different labels, a snapshot of the Possum's prolific early period. Andy Williams provides the easy-listening counterweight, with two Columbia titles rounding out a collection that reflects genuine listening habits rather than a grader's eye.

All twenty discs are guaranteed playable. The lot came together under one roof and stayed there — no mixed-estate blending, no flea-market pickups folded in. What you see is what one household played and stored across two decades of American country music's most fertile period.

CONDITION

Good overall; all 20 discs guaranteed playable. Jackets show shelf wear, edge and spine wear, ring wear, and soiling consistent with 1960s–70s single-owner storage; several show splitting at the seams. No unpleasant odors. Sold as a lot.
