Sentry 2170 Fire-Resistant Document Safe with Key
The Sentry Model 2170 is a compact fire-resistant chest built for protecting documents, records, and small valuables at home or in the office. The molded gray textured shell houses the maker's signature fire-insulation core, with a black front handle carrying the illuminated SENTRY flame logo and molded 2170 model designation. A key lock secures the lid, and the fitted key is included.
The interior lid carries the UL classification plate reading "Record Protection Equipment — Classified by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. as to Fire Resistance — Rating: Class 350 – ½ HR.", No. M 630112 — confirming a half-hour Class 350 fire rating suited to paper records. The lid opens fully on a molded hinge and stays upright for access, with a smooth-walled interior compartment.
CONDITION
Very Good with no remarkable damage. Minor paint overspray and some visible scuffs to the shell. Lock functions with the included key and the lid opens and closes properly.
