Set of nine Tiffin Franciscan Madeira footed goblets in Plum, the deepest and most collectible colorway in the Madeira line. Mold-pressed glass with the pattern's signature textured "bark" surface across the bowl, a band of raised circular medallions at the junction of bowl and stem, and a heavy scalloped foot. Each stem carries the warm amethyst tone that separates Plum from the more common amber and green. Produced by the Tiffin Glass Company of Tiffin, Ohio; unmarked, consistent with standard factory practice for this line.

Introduced in the early 1970s, Madeira became a fixture of American mid-century entertaining, its weighty form and tactile surface built for daily use at the table.
