Pyrex Primary Green & Blue Mixing Bowls with Town & Country Casserole, 4 Pieces
A four-piece Pyrex kitchen grouping combining early Primary color mixing bowls with a later Town & Country casserole. The set includes a green 404 large nesting bowl, two blue 401 small nesting bowls, and a white 043 oval casserole dish decorated in the Town & Country pattern — brown and orange cross-stitch medallions and eight-point stars ringing the exterior.
The undersides carry the embossed PYREX and Made in USA maker's marks, with the casserole reading 043 1½ QT. and one small bowl showing its 401 designation. The Primary bowls date to the mid-century nesting-set era, while the Town & Country casserole belongs to Pyrex's later dinnerware-coordinated line — a practical mix of familiar kitchen workhorses.
CONDITION
Good overall with age-appropriate wear and signs of use throughout. The colored exteriors show finish wear and loss — scuffing and speckled paint loss most pronounced on the blue bowls and along the green bowl's surface. The casserole pattern remains legible with light wear.
