Solid Wood Bedroom Set — Four-Poster Queen Bed & Pair of Nightstands
A three-piece solid wood bedroom suite built around a four-poster queen bed with heavy 5" × 5" tapered posts rising to faceted, chamfered caps. The headboard carries a serpentine arched crest above twin raised panels, with rails through-bolted at the posts and finished with turned dark bronze bolt covers. The two matching nightstands each pair a bow-front drawer with a beveled raised-panel door concealing an interior storage compartment, set on a molded plinth base with a scalloped apron. Knots and open grain run visible beneath a warm honey finish across all three pieces. Nightstand drawer interiors are branded Broyhill Quality Furniture; case stencils read MADE IN USA / COPYRIGHT 1999 BROYHILL FURN IND, with the bed marked 635-4360-50 and the nightstands marked 4360-93NS, Hideaway Nightstand, Continental Tapestry collection — the shared 4360 series number tying all three to the same line.
The lot consists of the bed (headboard, footboard, two side rails, four posts, and black steel center support rail with adjustable glide feet) and two nightstands. No mattress or bedding included.
CONDITION
Good throughout. All three pieces stand square and sturdy, with tight joinery, smooth-operating drawers and doors, and finish retaining strong color and depth. Scratches, scuffing, and finish wear are present across the bed posts and rails and on both nightstands; one bed post shows a separated seam with old filler at the panel junction, and each nightstand has one chipped corner on the bottom trim — one on the right and the other on the left, all documented in the supplemental reference images.
