Mission-Style Oak Trestle Dining Table & 6 Chairs with Leaf
A seven-piece Mission-style dining set built on the Arts and Crafts vocabulary of vertical slats, geometric lattice backs, and a substantial trestle base. The rectangular table top carries a striking book-matched oak veneer laid in a radiating four-panel pattern, framed by a solid banded edge. Its double-pedestal trestle base is pierced with open lattice grillwork echoing the chair backs — a design detail that ties the whole set together. Construction is solids, composites, and veneers, and the pieces are maker marked.
The set includes two armchairs and four side chairs, each with tall spindle backs, a signature square-lattice cluster at the crest, and cream upholstered seats. A 20" leaf is included (shown in reference photos), extending the table from 66" to 86" to seat larger gatherings. The high-back armchairs feature scrolled, rolled arms typical of the style.
CONDITION
Very Good with minor indications of use throughout. Light stains and discoloration to the upholstered seats. Wood surfaces and joinery remain sound.
