Zero Halliburton Centurion Elite Aluminum Attaché with Chicago Lock & Key
A Zero Halliburton "Centurion Elite" aluminum attaché case from the late 1970s–early 1980s, identified by the oval badge on the latch spine reading ZERO Centurion Elite. The ribbed, painted aluminum shell carries a cast aluminum top handle and chrome swing latches, with a center Chicago Lock Co. lock — confirmed by the stamped original key, which is present and included along with a spare. The interior is unlined bare aluminum with matching ribbed construction; the original foam insert was removed long ago.
The Centurion Elite sits at the premium tier of Zero Halliburton's lineup, the brushed-metal profile that became shorthand for espionage and high-stakes handoffs through decades of Cold War cinema — the case you cuff to your wrist, the one that carries the ransom. With the large unobstructed 26" × 19" interior, it's ready for a custom foam insert (replacement kits are commercially available) and reads equally well to prop buyers, photographers, and instrument collectors.
CONDITION
Good. Exterior shows scratches, scuffing, and edge rub to the ribbed contours consistent with working-age wear; latches and lock function with the original key. Interior is bare aluminum with glue residue from the removed foam; no foam insert included.
