Royal Brierley Crystal Cut Champagne Flutes, Pair — Boxed & Signed
A boxed pair of hand-cut lead crystal champagne flutes by Royal Brierley, the historic Stevens & Williams glassworks of Brierley Hill, Staffordshire. Each flute pairs a tall trumpet bowl with a knopped baluster stem on a spreading circular foot, cut in a fan-and-cross-hatch pattern that draws the eye upward through the diamond field. Both are wheel-engraved "Royal Brierley" to the underside of the foot.
The set retains its original red presentation box with gilt royal warrant — "By Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, Stevens & Williams Ltd." — over the Royal Brierley script, purple satin interior intact. Also included are the printed guarantee card noting the pieces are hand made of 30% full lead crystal and hand cut by British craftsmen and a second card describing the handmade nature of the work. A complete, presentation-ready gift set for the flute or English crystal collector.
CONDITION
Good with no remarkable damage. Both flutes ring clear with bright cutting and no chips or bruises noted. The presentation box shows minor surface marking to the lid, including a small blemish to the upper left corner.
