Carved Mahogany End Table with Cabriole Legs & Lower Display Shelf
A traditional end table in solid wood with a warm mahogany-toned finish, built on four sculpted cabriole legs that terminate in scrolled feet. Each leg is carved at the knee with acanthus-leaf and scroll motifs, echoed by a smaller foliate carving down the lower shaft. The clipped-corner top sits above a stepped, molded apron with a blackened detail line that emphasizes the profile.
A recessed lower display shelf ties the legs together and adds function beneath the main surface. The piece is sturdy and holds a strong presence for use beside a sofa or armchair.
CONDITION
Good and structurally sturdy. Finish wear is present, including scuffing and lightened rub-through along the legs. Age-appropriate handling marks throughout; no structural concerns noted.
