Mitchell Gold for Eddie Bauer Full-Grain Leather Cocktail Ottoman
A generously scaled rectangular cocktail ottoman upholstered in full-grain leather in a warm saddle tan, produced by Mitchell Gold for Eddie Bauer Home. The maker's label reads "Made Especially for Eddie Bauer by Mitchell Gold." The top is divided into a paneled grid by welted seams — a six-panel layout that emphasizes the natural grain, pull-up character, and honeyed patina of the hide. Squared corners and a low profile rest on short tapered hardwood block feet in a dark walnut finish.
The leather has softened and burnished with use, developing the marbled tonal variation and surface character prized in aniline-finished full-grain upholstery.
