Oval Hardwood Serving Board & Wood-Handle Measuring Set, 9 Pc.

The board does the work before anything lands on it. Warm-toned hardwood strips, laminated in alternating grain, pull the eye across an oval surface that feels substantial without being heavy — the kind of piece that earns its counter space. A pair of squared steel bail handles, cast with a satisfying heft and bolted flush to the face, make it easy to carry from kitchen to table without breaking the spell of a well-arranged spread.

The measuring sets were clearly chosen to live alongside it. The four stainless cups — 1 cup down to 1/4 cup — have turned wood handles that echo the board's warm grain, split-ring hung and stacking neatly. The four measuring spoons — 1 tbsp through 1/4 tsp — carry darker, ribbed turned handles with polished chrome spoon bowls, riding a ring of their own. Two sets, two handle styles, one visual language. Whoever put this together was thinking about the whole kitchen, not just the task.
