Vintage Navajo Burntwater Roomsize Weaving / Rug
At an incredible 8'10" X 12', this exceptionally large and tightly woven Navajo weaving is a fine example of the Burntwater style.
Navajo Burntwater rugs are known for their beautiful pastel colors derived from Native vegetal dyes and also for their excellence in weave. Burntwater rugs are a more recent development of the late 1960s.
Condition:
Good, with the following issues:
UV fading to one end, minor color bleeds and soiling as shown in the final photos. No moth damage.
