Carved Antler Maiden Fetish
Inlaid Jet, Coral, Turquoise, Tigers Eye
Troy Sice is one of the best known current Zuni fetish carvers. Antler is the medium he is best known for. Elk Antler is carved and the carving is inlaid with a number of different stones, shells, etc. He has shown at the Smithsonian and has been featured in a number of books and periodicals. He is at the top of the list of quality Zuni artists.This figure is 8" high, the largest I have seen currently for sale in stores or auctions. I think she is beautiful. The statue emits a serenity that is catching. The workmanship is superb.
