Realistic LAB-120 Turntable – QLM 30 MK II
This is a Realistic LAB-120 fully automatic turntable, equipped with a QLM 30 MK II needle and marked by the maker, Radio Shack. A classic from the late 1970s to early 1980s, this model features bi-directional viscous cueing and single-play automatic operation, making it both user-friendly and collectible.
Housed in a sturdy black body with a faux woodgrain front panel, the unit retains its original smoked dust cover, and includes the original owner’s manual. The LAB-120 was favored for its consistent belt-drive performance and thoughtful design, including a low-mass tonearm and a durable aluminum platter.
Condition:
In good condition overall. Unit is fully functional and tested, with some cosmetic wear from prior use. The dust cover has surface scratches, spotting, and a 1.5" crack to the rear. Signs of general use are present but do not affect operation. Please see photos for detailed condition.
