1930s Art Deco Oak Sideboard – Carved Medallions, Brass, Swivel Drawers
This 1930s Art Deco oak sideboard showcases period craftsmanship with its carved floral medallions, brass hardware, and functional storage. The central dovetail-constructed drawer is flanked by two swivel-out drawers, and the piece features two sliding center doors and four side cabinets with drop-down doors. Notably, the top right cabinet door has a 9½" x 10" glass panel affixed inside. The sideboard's design reflects the era's emphasis on both form and function, making it a versatile addition to any space.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with sturdy construction. The top shows age-appropriate surface wear, including paint flecks and several shallow old burn marks that do not compromise the integrity of the wood. Veneer wear is visible in places, and is chpped on the left sliding door, the center drawer is missing its left knob cap. The top left swivel drawer has lost its lining, and felt is absent from all drawer interiors. Despite this, the piece remains functional, attractive, and full of vintage charm.
