This vintage two-piece hutch cabinet from Kling Colonial showcases the company’s renowned craftsmanship in solid cherry wood. Maker-marked model 31-6136.45-0675, this set blends timeless American Colonial design with practical storage and display.
The top section features four glass-paneled doors with arched mullions, opening to two fixed shelves with integrated plate rails. Shelf heights measure approximately 12", 11", and 10", ideal for varied display. Below, three dovetail drawers offer additional storage.
The buffet base includes four dovetail drawers and four paneled cabinet doors. Behind the side doors are removable and adjustable interior shelves, allowing for flexible organization. Traditional brass-tone hardware, bracket feet, and crown molding complete the look.
Crafted by the Kling Furniture Company—later acquired by Ethan Allen—this model reflects their legacy of sturdy, elegant construction. A versatile and charming addition to dining rooms or kitchens.
Condition:
In good condition overall. Drawers and cabinet doors function properly. The buffet surface has a prominent section of scratches located beneath the upper hutch, not visible when fully assembled. All other sections are in great condition, with no notable damage.
