Demilune Inlaid Mahogany Side Cabinet with Tooled Leather Top
A compact demilune side cabinet in solid wood with mahogany finish, fronted by a pair of inlaid central door panels flanked by reeded tambour-style curved sides. The doors carry satinwood string inlay in an elongated oval-and-panel motif, fitted with cast brass ring pulls on foliate-wreathed backplates. The bowed front, stepped cornice, and shaped plinth base give the piece a refined Federal/Sheraton-revival silhouette.
The top is finished with a tooled tan leather inset bordered by a gilt scrollwork band, set within a mahogany surround. Behind the doors, a single fixed shelf with shaped supports divides the interior into two compartments suitable for bar storage, media components, or display.
CONDITION
Good overall. Light scuffs and surface wear to the leather top, including minor indentations and finish variation consistent with use. Cabinet body, inlay, and hardware present cleanly with no structural concerns noted.
