Corgi Aviation Archive AA39501 Short Stirling Mk I "MacRobert's Reply", a highly detailed 1:72 scale die-cast model depicting aircraft N6086/LS-F of No. 15 Squadron RAF Wyton, October 1941. Finished in authentic RAF camouflage and markings, this impressive model recreates Britain's first four-engine heavy bomber with exceptional attention to detail, including rotating propellers, clear cockpit glazing, gun turrets, and realistic panel and surface features.
The full-size aircraft holds a unique place in RAF history. "MacRobert's Reply" was funded by Lady Rachel MacRobert in memory of her three sons, all of whom lost their lives while serving with the Royal Air Force during World War II. The aircraft entered operational service in 1941 and became a lasting symbol of sacrifice and national resolve.
