Swarovski Silver Crystal Hedgehog Figurine with Original Box
A faceted crystal hedgehog by Swarovski, bristling with individually set clear crystal spines and finished with three black crystal cabochons for eyes and nose. The underside carries the early Swarovski SC block logo, dating the piece to the 1980s production window before the swan mark replaced the block logo in 1989. Comes with its original silver Swarovski Silver Crystal cylindrical presentation tube.
The hedgehog is one of the most recognizable figures from Swarovski's early animal series, prized by collectors for the labor-intensive spine assembly and the precision of the faceted body. The combination of the early mark and the original packaging makes this a desirable example for collectors building out the pre-swan period.
CONDITION
