Manon Pewter & Swarovski Crystal Kangaroo with Joey & Platypus Figurines
A pair of Australian wildlife figurines by Manon, rendered in cast pewter with faceted Swarovski crystal bodies. The mother kangaroo stands upright in a classic alert pose with a joey peeking from her pouch, while the platypus stretches low with its distinctive duck bill, webbed feet, and flat tail fully articulated. Both pieces use a single large faceted crystal as the torso, with finely textured pewter heads, limbs, and tails capturing the fur and feature detail of each species.
Eyes are set with small black cabochons, paw and claw detail is crisp throughout, and the crystals show excellent clarity with brilliant facet cuts characteristic of Manon's crystal-and-metal animal figurine line. The platypus carries an incised MP maker's mark on the underside of one foot — consistent with the Manon Pewter mark used on the brand's Australian wildlife series.
CONDITION
Good with no damage noted. Crystals are clear and bright with sharp facets; pewter retains its bright finish with only minor handling marks.
