Description

Hank Snow LP Collection, Set of 6 — RCA Victor & Camden, 1960s

Six Hank Snow long-players on the RCA Victor and RCA Camden labels, spanning the artist's prolific 1960s output for the company he recorded with for nearly three decades. The set includes The Last Ride (CAL 782), The Southern Cannonball (CAL 680), The Guitar Stylings of Hank Snow (LPM-3548), Big Country Hits — Songs I Hadn't Recorded Till Now (LPM-2458), Hank Snow Sings Your Favorite Country Hits (LPM-3317), and Travelin' Blues (CAS-964e). Cover art runs the gamut from painted railroad scenes and studio photography to the psychedelic Americo illustration on the late-1960s Travelin' Blues jacket.

Several jackets retain original price stickers and dated store markings in grease pencil — period retail traces from the era of purchase. The titles favor Snow's signature material: train songs, Jimmie Rodgers covers, and the guitar-forward sessions produced by Chet Atkins in RCA's Nashville Sound studio. A coherent single-owner run from a collection largely assembled across the 1960s and 1970s.

CONDITION

Good overall and playable, sold as shown. Jackets show shelf wear, edge softening, and surface soiling consistent with age; Big Country Hits has corner and spine wear, and the Travelin' Blues jacket shows a tear to the lower right back panel. Several covers carry retail stickers and handwritten dates. No unpleasant odors.
