Description

Mystery Box — 20 Vintage LPs: Steel Guitar, Ragtime, Jazz & 1920s-50s Nostalgia

A single-owner mystery lot of 20 vinyl LPs weighted toward early-20th-century nostalgia, steel guitar, ragtime, and trad jazz. Titles glimpsed across the spines include Jimmy Day — Golden Steel Guitar Hits (Philips PHM 200-018), Arthur "Guitar Boogie" Smith — Mr. Guitar (Starday SLP 173), Carl Smith (Columbia CL 1172), The Kid Ory Story — Storyville Nights (Verve), Great Ragtime Hits — Steve Allen, The Original Hoosier Hot Shots, Max Bygraves — Hits of the Twenties, Flappers, Speakeasies and Bathtub Gin, The Flirty 30's (Audio Fidelity), and Before Talkies and TV, among others.

Most were acquired in the 1960s and 1970s and remain from one owner. The blend leans toward period reissues and themed compilations spanning the 1920s through the 1950s — a coherent run for buyers chasing steel guitar, Dixieland, and Prohibition-era novelty pressings. Sold as a complete group exactly as pictured.

Good overall and playable, sold as shown. Jackets carry shelf and edge wear consistent with single-owner storage from the 1960s–70s, including ringwear and spine softening on several covers. No unpleasant odors.
