Technics SA-103 FM/AM Stereo Receiver — Silver-Face, Phono Input
An early-1980s Technics SA-103 AM/FM stereo receiver in the brushed silver-face style of the period, built by Matsushita Electric in Singapore. The control layout runs the full front: bass, treble, and balance rotaries, loudness and FM muting/mode toggles, a four-position source selector (phono, aux, FM, AM), tape monitor, and large concentric volume and tuning knobs. The right side carries an illuminated dial scale with an FM stereo and signal-strength meter cluster.
The rear panel offers phono, aux, and tape RCA inputs, switched speaker terminals for main and remote pairs (spring-clip binding posts with lock collars), AM loop and FM 300Ω/75Ω antenna connections, and two unswitched AC convenience outlets rated 300W total. Phono input makes this a practical match for a turntable-based vintage system. Tested and powering on with full function across controls. Carries serial no. EF1630B057.
CONDITION
Good and fully functional. Tested and powers on; all controls operate. The case top shows scratching, scuffing, and handwritten reference markings on the top vent panel; expect surface wear and other signs of previous use throughout. Remote is absent.
