Big Sky Carvers Bearfoots Moose Ceramic Cookie Jar by Phyllis Driscoll
A figural lidded cookie jar from the Bearfoots line by Big Sky Carvers, designed by Phyllis Driscoll. The seated moose sports a goofy, big-nosed expression and oversized paddle antlers, glazed in soft taupe and cream with deep black hooves and a smoke-gray wash through the coat. The head lifts off at the neckline to serve as the lid, revealing the cream-glazed storage cavity below.
Big Sky Carvers built its reputation on lodge and cabin decor with a humorous, hand-carved sensibility, and the Bearfoots tabletop series translated that look into functional ceramic pieces. The underside carries the printed Bearfoots / Big Sky Carvers maker's oval reading "Moose by Phyllis Driscoll."
