Heavy Crystal Champagne Bucket with Faceted Ball Handles, Hobstar & Fan
A substantial heavy crystal wine or champagne bucket cut in a dense allover pattern of hobstars, fine diamond fields, fans, and radiating splits. The tapered body flares to a scalloped, pointed rim, and each side carries a short handle terminating in a large faceted ball — a distinctive detail that reads with the sparkle of cut crystal under light. The base is finished with a deep fan-and-flute cut and a central star.
At just over seven and a half pounds, the piece functions equally well as a bottle chiller or a display vase. The item is unmarked.
CONDITION
Excellent overall with no damage to the display surfaces. A fleabite chip to the underside of the base is not visible when the piece is displayed upright; mentioned for accuracy.
