The white-base script plates represent California's 1987-series format, still the current standard: the red California script header, navy embossed characters, and month/year registration tabs. 4DVF018 carries the bottom legend SESQUICENTENNIAL – 150 YEARS, a commemorative run issued for California's 150th anniversary of statehood in 1999 — these were produced in limited quantity and assigned sequentially, making them a recognized sub-variant. CONDITION

Good overall with age-appropriate wear throughout. Denting and finish wear present across the group; the 3LDN229 stickered plate shows heavy accumulated grime and edge staining along the lower rail. The blue-base 1KZN550 has paint chipping at the edges and field scuffing but retains strong color. Registration stickers remain affixed on five of the six plates.
