Louis Icart Pair of Signed Nude Prints — Reclining Nudes, Art Deco
Icart's cinematic nudes defined the erotic edge of the Deco era, blending drypoint delicacy with the theatrical glamour of the interwar years. Each print is double matted in charcoal grey over deep red and framed behind glass in a silvered, foliate-embossed molding. Sold together as a matched pair.
CONDITION
Fair. Sheets present without tears or losses; however, the cracked and lifted glass corner on one frame is a noted defect requiring attention before or after pickup. Framing and matting otherwise intact. Signature is a printed facsimile reproduction.
