Sawyer's View-Master Model E Bakelite Stereoscope with 9 Reels & Original Box

The stepped Art Deco eyepiece surrounds, chrome-trimmed apertures, and smooth top-mounted advance lever all function exactly as designed.

The lot arrives with its original two-piece box — green wave-pattern lithography, cursive Stereoscope script, the base end stamped Sawyer's Inc., Portland 7, Oregon — and nine reels in original sleeves spanning the full mid-century range: three-reel Disneyland Fantasyland set (854-A/B/C), Waterton Lakes, Banff Canadian Rockies, Duluth & North Shore Drive, The Three Little Pigs, The Night Before Christmas, and Mother Goose Rhymes. Travel, Disney, and fairy tales — someone built this collection with intention.

CONDITION

Good and fully functional; tested and working with clear optics and a smooth reel-advance mechanism. Box shows edge wear, corner softening, and soiling consistent with its age. Reel sleeves have handling wear and mild toning throughout.
