Zuni Picasso Marble Bear Fetish, Turquoise Eyes & Carved Prayer Bundle
Hand-carved bear fetish in Picasso marble, its mottled black, gray, and cream matrix broken by warm russet veining that the carver worked into the muzzle, spine, and finely detailed coiled tail. The stone's dendritic patterning does much of the visual work, with defined shoulder and haunch planes, incised legs, and a low, purposeful stance. Inlaid turquoise stone eyes sit flush at the head.
A carved offering bundle rides the back — the traditional prayer element tying the piece to Zuni fetish practice, where the bear stands as guardian of the West and a figure of strength and healing. The tail carving is unusually crisp for a piece this small, terminating in a tapered spiral.

Good. No remarkable damage. Turquoise eyes and back bundle secure; polish and detail retained throughout.
